CIRCLE ONE: the miserable angel

On a freezing December 25^th morning on the year 1982, Katharine Turnstile was in labor and trying to produce her son or daughter. It didn't matter to her because she thought that kids were okay if they knew how to shut up and do chores. Her husband, who was protectively watching over his wife was hoping this child wouldn't be so messed up. Finally, after four hours of labor, Katharine gave birth to a daughter who seemed to be perfectly well off considering her health. Hopefully, everything was going well with their daughter, but it didn't as the doctors made a startling discovery. Their daughter would have insomnia attacks that would be extremely severe during her life.

This angered her father, who was named Damien Turnstile. He wanted a perfect child and they were going to have to put up with one who had insomnia. He couldn't believe it; he REFUSED to believe it, so he had a plan to make his daughter's life hell when she was growing up in order to show just how much she fucked up his "utopia" of a perfect normal American family. To test her, he named her Agatha, no matter how ugly the name seems.

Agatha. That meant good in Greek.

Agatha Turnstile, December 25^th 1982. Seven pounds and three ounces; forever a fuck-up in the eyes of her father and mother.

CIRCLE TWO: the social misfit
Agatha's life, when she was growing up, wasn't pleasant by any means. When she was three, she was told outright that she better be perfect or there would be severe consequences. Understanding this, she tried to get 100s in everything and she did with an extreme amount of effort, so extreme that it pushed her over her limits and eventually her insomnia worsened to the level of where, if she wanted to sleep, or rather her parents wanted her to sleep, she had to be bound to her bed and then have a sedative in order to make her sleep.

Her mother demeaned her daily, telling her that she'd never be beautiful as her. In short, her mother was an egotistical witch and her father? Well, her father is a completely different thing. Her father slapped her, her father abused her, her father laughed at her when she came home with a bruise or a bandage around her arm. When he threw a beer bottle at her, she was expected to pick it up and clean it up. Eventually, her parents expected more out of her and she was told to clean after she did her homework. If it wasn't acceptable, her parents made another mess and told her to do it over again.

When she went to school, Agatha was picked on by everyone for being so smart. She was the student who had the highest grades in her classes and always came home with an A+ on her tests, which made her parents slightly happy, though they wanted MORE out of their daughter, so they increased the "torment" on her. If she got anything lower than a one-hundred percent on a test, she had one of her favorite foods/possessions/privileges taken away from her. Eventually, it got to be worse for her when she had the last thing she loved taken away from her; her only friend at that time, Jessica Langtry, was forbidden to see her because she had a 99.9% on a test.

When it came time for her twelfth birthday, Agatha's parents told her she was going to an orphanage. She begged and pleaded with them to not give her up or rather, give up on her. They shoved her out of the house with a double-barreled shotgun and a noose and told her that they were going to end it right then and there. The orphanage's director took her away and threw her in the car before she saw how her parents died. In her mind, Agatha thinks her mother hung herself and her father shot his own brain out, which is why on the month of December she is so messed up emotionally and mentally because she has reoccuring thoughts of their deaths.

CIRCLE THREE: how this miserable angel works

Agatha thinks that everything is her fault at first, but when she's convinced by other people or herself, mostly others, she will stop lamenting over things and move on. But that's not as easy as it may sound. She constantly puts herself down for the happiness of others, but recently, someone has changed that in order to make her know she is a beautiful person inside and out.

However, she's generally caring and helpful to anyone as she doesn't want anyone to know how much she's actually hurting inside when she sees how happy others are. She craves happiness. She craves attention. She craves being wanted. She wants happiness, but she doesn't know how to get it from people. All Alert or Agatha wants is to be wanted and to have people give a shit about her.

CIRCLE FOUR: connecting the strings of her heart to others

Zaviel
Zaviel is Alert's first love and the one she feels as if she can share anything with. When she asked him to bunk in her room, that was Alert showing how much she trusted him. When they had sex, Alert's mind wasn't completely with her body, thus making her feel like losing her virginity was entirely her fault and she lamented an entire day because of this, however, with Zaviel's proposal, her mind completely changed about her decision and now the two have a personal mantra they tell each other. "In all things; together". If there's one thing that Alert will never do to him is cheat on him because she trusts and depends on him to keep her "stable" since she wanted to kill herself previously.

Penchant

Penchant is Alert's third friend and her unrelated younger sister. Penchant, to Alert, is someone who wants her to be happy, though to Alert, happiness is hard to come by. She wants others to be happy on the account of her own happiness, which is martyr-like. In a relationship, I could see them working, but not as well as Zaviel's relationship with Alert. I can see Alert wanting to have friends with other people, but Penchant's neediness on her would hold her back from finally letting herself know that she's okay and well off with her friends. Also, from a friend, Penchant's underlying negativity would drag Alert down because she wants her significant other to be happy, not depressed and demean themselves.

Mlenar

Mlenar is Alert's friend and unrelated younger brother. These two seem to mesh well together and she loves to tease him about his codename that was given to him. To Mlenar, Alert seems like his older brother Aleksy and to Alert, Mlenar seems like the younger brother that she never had the chance or opportunity to have. In a relationship, I don't think they could work considering the fact that they seem to much like brother and sister, not lovers.

S

S is Alert's first friend at Wammy's who said that he wouldn't let anything bad happen to her again. Those words meant a lot to her and she worries a lot about him, especially now. I don't think they could work at all because S is gay and Alert's bisexual.
